HoneyCrack was formed by CJ and Willie after they left The Wildhearts
in 1994. They released a debut album, Prozaic in 1996 and a posthumous album of demos that would have formed
the basis of a second album in 1998.

HoneyCrack disbanded in 1997. After the band broke up: CJ formed The Jellys before rejoining The Wildhearts and recording his debut solo album; Mark, Hugo and Pete formed The Bugs before Hugo joined The Bootleg Beatles, Pete joined UnAmerican and Mark....; and Willie released a solo album as
